About
Of a small town in Quebec, Canada, my artistic development had the normal university formation (University of Ottawa), with an added support of an international influence (Banff School of Fine Arts International). Beyond these standards I was engaged to grow with indigenous training (medicine path) and the setting of a value for art as environmental care (Taoist Tai Chi & Chi Kung certification). Together these influences supported a way of expression, a deep harmony with nature I describe as a spiritual way.
Large drawings set with oil bar and acrylic wash, rendered lightly to uplift and engage in play and relationship. Simple, easy to follow story lines that mirror a natural every day life, these works reflect tradition and care for the environment that keeps us in health.

If creativity with care opens to a field of light awareness, and the work depicted serves to hold in heart,
the experience is of awe. As caregivers we seek our natural home, that original field that plays to reflect the nuturing, the continual giving. Art that gives to this play reflects the seeking, the renewal of
heartfelt contact.

My artwork may feel like childs play, rendering lightly to re-awaken the joy and sincerety of a youthful heart. Children are often given generously to draw, and taken lightly to repeat. A favorite theme augments the play and power of expression. As adults that lightness is often lost if not engaged in a soulful way. Nature for my artwork is subject, object and the all.
